(Employers are welcome to submit job advertisements in either French or English, Canada's official languages. Please note that Job Bank displays your advertisements in both French and English.)

I understand that this is an Internet job advertisement service that is publicly accessible. Job Bank cannot control how third parties will use the information once information is posted on Job Bank.

With exception of the contact information on a job advertisement, I will not post any sensitive or personal information which could include a person's name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, place of work, age or medical information.

I acknowledge that Job Bank for Employers will only accept job orders from employers who supply their 15-digit Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Payroll Deduction Account Business Number and who agree that any jobs they post in Job Bank will be subject to payroll deductions and remittances to CRA. As per internal procedures, Job Bank officers may request written documentation in order to validate information supplied by our users.

Job Bank will not accept job ads where the employer expects the worker to remit their own tax deductions and arrange other employment coverage for programs such as Income Tax, CPP, EI, and Workers Compensation. As well, Job Bank for Employers will not accept job ads for business or self-employment opportunities with or without a monetary investment, jobs from placement agencies that charge fees to applicants, volunteer opportunities, many casual jobs, ads where there are currently no available openings, ads that include unpaid training as a condition of hiring, or if the employment is located outside Canada. Job Bank may refuse ads for other reasons as well. Please note that Job Bank reserves the right to ask placement agencies the name of their client for a specific job opportunity.

I will not post a job advertisement containing inappropriate information, including offensive or illegal language or content, defamatory statements, inflammatory or discriminatory content based on gender, sexual orientation, age, religious affiliation, disability and/or ethnicity or any commercial solicitation and/or advertising. Morally offensive job offers will not be advertised on Job Bank. I will not post confidential third party information, including any proprietary information about a business without the owner's consent.

Job Bank will not accept advertisements for the recruitment of replacement workers during a labour dispute.

I am the sole owner of all rights in the material I post or I have the right by license or permission to post this material in a public forum such as this Internet site. Job advertisements will be advertised on Job Bank for 14 calendar days unless otherwise requested by the employer. Job Bank does not authorize inappropriate re-posting or duplication of advertisements merely to ensure more prominence for the advertisement. If no jobs are created or posted within 180 days of creating an account, this account will be deleted from Job Bank's system.

I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my job advertisement complies with all applicable federal/provincial/territorial legislation including employment standards and human rights legislation.

Job Bank will not post job advertisements or will remove them, without notice, if they fail to comply with the above or for any other reason deemed appropriate by Job Bank.
